Grew up in a small town NW of St. Louis. In HS was in Jazz band, Marching band and Concert band [bass bone]. Was also in a Rock band keyboard and singer. Attended SEMO college one semester and dropped out cause my draft number of 72. Drafted in September of '72 basic Fort-Lost-in-the-Woods, reenlisted from US ->RA, then Huntsville, AL for AIT, then on to Miesau, Germany for the of my commitment. Worked for a couple of alarm companies in St. Louis and Tucson, AZ. The was hired by IBM in Tucson, 3803 Tape control unit, 3800 laser printer, lead tech on 3990 DASD controller, moved to Rochester, MN June 1987. Was a Lab Tech Specialist, Lab support tech, ESD coordinator, and tracked all batteries in all systems that IBM used or made throughout the company. Was forced to retirement after 33 years. Worked at a hobby store for a couple of years. Now I'm fully retired and spend most of my time changing names in Config files so they are easier to find items. This is a carry over from tracking batteries, (a database base is only as good as the consistency of the data input)
