How to move an AI train that is controlling a needed switch?

Your cloned Route has a unique kuid number. Every Session will be directed to a Route kuid number (shown as "Map" in the Session config). Because your Route has a unique number, none of the Sessions will connect to it. You now have the freedom to create your personal Session with whatever locos...

How to move an AI train that is controlling a needed switch?

It's not rocket science to clone. Select "Manage Content" - Add the name of the Route in the upper right search field - Select the Route (left mouse button) - Go to upper left and select Content followed by Clone. TRS19 will tell you that the Route has been cloned but you will not see it listed...

About 35% of the people on this planet live in countries that drive on the left ...

That is understandable for Australians though. I would also be confused being upside down and trying figure out which side of the road to drive on.

How to move an AI train that is controlling a needed switch?

If you open up Content Manager and locate the Session, then you should be able to create a clone of that Session which will then have your kuid numbering, which in turn will allow you to open it up and make whatever changes your desire ..... such as deleting trains.. An alternative approach...

    GWR 72XX 2-8-2T

There is one available at a nominal cost at PaulzTrainz (link below): http://www.paulztrainz.myenet.info/inside/N_GWR72xx.htm However, whether you are happy with it or not becomes rather subjective. Regards. Colin.

Discussions about AI for and against content creations.

Actually, "mindless entertainment" is a rather narrow view of Trainz. There are many who get nostalgic pleasure from following trains around. There are many who get great satisfaction out of replacing their model railway (along with the inherent space limitations) with layouts that are virtually...

Hi Annie - A bit of Route trivia for you. Plasmawr Road is in Cardiff, and I spent a year (1964!) there in a college on Plasmawr Road!

    UK Forests

You could download my Tristyn District GWR Route (TRS19) and see how I utilize trees. My criteria was to establish a "main" tree, then a secondary tree and occasionally an accent tree. By mixing the main and secondary trees (i.e. only 2 trees), you are being nice to your PC which is likely...

    Trainz in two different computers?

A bit late coming to this party, but running Trainz on multiple computers can cause a problem totally caused by the user (I know from experience)! In my scenario, I have all my Routes/Sessions on my latest PC, but the original/earlier copies remained on my "retired" PC however, its retirement...

    Good British routes

You could try my (Driver_Col) Billinton Routes/Sessions, and also my Drummond Routes/Sessions. They were built in TANE but may well adapt to later versions of Trainz.

program shuts down when train reaches a speed of 56 mph

Perhaps try running a loco somewhere else on the Route. This will either confirm/refute that the speed is the issue. Perhaps location is the issue. It has been my experience that Windows updates do not necessarily include all drivers, especially my graphics! I went to Nvidia direct and found...

Is it possible to make an AI train ignore a Track Direction Marker?

I have had AI loco ignore a Direction Marker pointing against it, but have never been successful intentionally. Having said that, and in my experience with my Routes/Sessions, if an AI loco is expected to travel the wrong way over a specific piece of trackwork, then a trackwork revision solves...

What's going on here then? - BR 9F Evening Star & Black Prince

Well I can only assume that they never made it on the ECML from Peterborough to Kings X. It is also a bit of a puzzle understanding why a 9F rated locomotive would be allocated to a passenger haul? Perhaps scrapping of old steam was faster than the diesel introductions?

What's going on here then? - BR 9F Evening Star & Black Prince

When I was comparing Trainz with other sims quite a few years ago, Trainz had the advantage of an impressive selection of items available for download at no charge. Other sims were apparently better in quality/realism, but to expand ones collection of rolling stock generally involved payware. It...
