There are a number of threads re the flashing/sparkling trees. and as I commented on 2 similar threads, I went direct to nVidia to check the status of my GTX1060 and the Driver was indeed out of date. (I mistakenly assumed that Windows Update covered all that stuff!). After the Driver had been...
For general info - I have had this issue with a GTX1060 version 457.1 card.. Going directly to the nVidia site, I discovered (today) that a version 546.33 existed. Once downloaded and installed... all the sparkly/flashing effects disappeared. Regards. Colin.
That was useful! 10 Series provided the GTX1060 option, which showed latest Driver 546.33. My Driver was 457.51 which, according to Windows, was the latest ... so I am assuming that Windows only checks their own Drivers? Regardless, I now have Driver 546.33 installed, and the trees no longer...
I am running with nVidia GTX1060 3GB and there are apparently no Driver updates (per Trainz offical response to the flashing trees issue) from either nVidia or Windows. Having been with Trainz since TRS2004 ... words fail me (polite ones that is) with the performance of my TRS22PE. My choice is...
From my perspective, TRS22 still has a very long way to go before I would create a Route in it (which is why I am still in TANE). If you are happy to run without shadows, you can always turn them off. Just a thought for your consideration - If you have an earlier version of Trainz available...
I am using 122418 with Windows 11 and do not have those issues. My thoughts are either your PC is perhaps a little under spec'd for your Route or, if that is not the case, you have other programs running in the background which is causing this. Perhaps Windows is trying to process an update...
Does anybody know how to get a Route in TRS19 Build 117009, to be accepted by T-ANE Build 105766? Changing the Build number alone is insufficient. This post will be repeated in the T-ANE area. Many thx. Colin.
As many of you will know, all but one of my routes are fictional. There are often discussions around here on the issues surrounding prototypical route building, and I really do not envy anybody attempting an accurate representation of a specific route. In fact I admire anybody who can come up...
..... I am giving myself permission to publicly "vent" about Trainz! I really believe that, as I enter my 76th year, I am entitled to some expressive latitude so here goes:
Those of us who have created anything for Trainz can probably relate to the following scenario. You load up your first...

Many thanks. Colin.
Hi Guys - Unless I am missing something (it happens), We appear to have lost a couple of Driver Rules:
1. To allow a Max Speed to be inserted into a Schedule.
2. To incorporate Passenger loading (triggers carriage doors opening).
As a separate issue, a test run with a GWR Class 57xx...
I am a Gold Class Trainz Plus TRS22 member, and traditionally I have created Routes and Sessions. Given all the benefits that I have available to me based on my membership, am I going to be producing Routes and Sessions in TRS22 that will have shortfalls for "regular" TRS22 members? In...
