Grew up in North Central Wisconsin. Enjoyed model railroading as a teenager and early 20's. HO scale. Was always a problem of not enough space and not enough budget. I got out of the hobby for a long time but still enjoyed visiting model railroads and was a member of a club for a while. Picked up a used copy of Trainz 2006 at a garage sale and it was like a dream come true. Endless space to build with interactive industries and many engines and rolling stock! And, it didn't break my bank. My computer wasn't the best at running it but I got by. Eventually ordered Trainz 2009. It was great but glitch and had problems installing service packs. More slow computer problems too. Now I have a "gaming" level computer and I'm ready for T:ANE
