I use Afterburner only to control fan speeds. My 'puter sounds like a 747 during take-off. The new machine with the 4080 is much cooler and quieter.

Yes it is. I absolutely love this card.....very fast and very little heat. My old RTX 3070 was fast, but was also a furnace....usually running 90-95*C. The 4080 is a great card all the way around.

I run an RTX 4080 (12 gig) and I have no issues at all. Rock solid at 30 FPS and holds about 40FPS on a very large route with THOUSANDS of trees lining most of the track.

If that is the only problem that you have running it on Linux, I would say that you are doingvery well!

I still use Surveyor 1 for almost everything....sooo much easier. Sur 2 I use mostly for moving large amounts of earth and for covering large amounts of earth with grass, dist, etc. It is especially nice for just putting a "hint" of dirt or grass somewhere....no sharp edges.

That is the button to change the lights, but it does not disable them.

I have the disco lights, but prefer them to stay one color. To me, I would rather not have the lights at all, but I cannot turn them off. Mine is made by Cyberpower and I love it except that the blue power light is extremely bright. In fact, it actually lights up the bedroom which is across...

Not only do I have backups here, I routinely make a backup and put it at a friend's home......if this house gets destroyed, the backup at their home will restore 95-100% of my stuff.

I don't use anything like that.....I create all my own stuff.

Thanks pware...that worked. But I have to ask again....why did this just start? I have never had this problem before.....in either 19 or 22 or 22PE.

Why now? I have been using 22PE for awhile now and this has never happened before.

Never ran into this before.....what is up with the water? I am trying to lower the ground to add a river and I get this horrible blueish thing with the edges flickering. How do I get rid of this crap?

Extended DBR = 6 errors and 10,825 warnings. Is this normal???
