    They've been getting weeded out since 2020 when the Coronavirus Pandemic hit. They are all pushing 30 years of service and BNSF wants to either rebuild their GEs or buy new ones to replace their aging EMD or GE units. For at least one decade now BNSF has been purging their roster of the SD70MAC...
