I want to see if I am doing this correctly up to this point:
I downloaded "Bush Creek Pass" and one the orange box labeled InstallBCP, I
right clicked, choose Open With (which I set as default) CMP. CMP then opens a box called Results (which shows what action has been taken). I then click on the Icon Launch Trainz and a box comes that says "committing".

Now what do I do, since Bush Creek Pass is not in the list of routes to use.
TIA
Fred

Welcome newbie Fred,

Hope you don't mind me suggesting that you register your Trainz serial number. I have noticed lately that some of the "old hands" aren't replying to threads where the thread opener hasn't as yet registered a licence serial number with N3V...

This is possibly why you haven't got a response so far... (welcome aboard)...

Cheers, Mac...

;):hehe: Not my side, Malc. ;)

But I do also think that Fred should register his Trainz copy mainly to prevent some malicious overtaker from "game"napping his serial number.

Apparently someone has already taken my serial # which I can give to you thru personal email. My profile is filled in and I've done everything else I know to do. Helpdesk told me to quit registering my #, that once was enough. This CD was a gift. It was still sealed in plastic. What do I do next, just give up on Trainz? Help Desk won't answer me anymore.
Thanks for your help.
Fred

Fred,
Click on Profile. Then on the left hand side you will see Trainz. Second column down you will see Serial Number. Click on that.
You should then be able to see if you have any Registered Serial Numbers. If nothing is showing up, all I can suggest is two things. (a) Try re-entering your serial number in the boxes and click on Submit.

(b) If that fails, all I can suggest is you send another ticket to the help-desk explaining the situation and ask them to look into who has illegally used your licensed serial number. (they should be able to contact that person and ask him/her to explain where they got that serial number from). What version of Trainz is it anyway?

It's hard to understand how someone could have stolen/used your serial number if you got a licensed sealed copy of Trainz... (Did the person who gave it to you as a gift register the serial number) ???

If you don't have any further joy in sorting the matter out, the only other thing I can suggest is you purchase a new copy of TS2010 or TS12 and register that serial number ASAP...

Good luck in sorting it out...

Cheers, Mac...

Thanks for your suggestion. I did as you suggested and it says I have no registered serial numbers. Guess I'll try Helpdesk one more time. I am using 2006. Whch version do you prefer?
Kindest Regards,
Fred
