.. and please don't forget to download any back issues you may have missed out on.

There are several reasons why it's in zip format:
  1. It's a very small file (1.7 meg) An online version would be 16 meg or more.
  2. It contains material people will constantly wish to refer to. many people print it and keep it for future reference.
  3. It's not something you can really read online.
  4. It would take you one two hours to read it from cover to cover.
It only takes a minute to download. if you don't like it, then just delete it.

I met with JohnK a while ago and he was not intending to re-open his Trainz Resources web site..

I suspect at this time (March 2012) he has chosen to move on to other things not associated with computers or web sites.

I will try to catch up with him again next time I go to Cairns.

Good to hear John is ok, I miss his site, it had a lot of really good reference links.

Glad to hear that Johnk is OK. I really enjoyed working with him. John, if you're still following these forums, good luck and good health!

Regards, Joe

TCN up to August 2010 is available as a consolidated Vol 1 at Alberte's website:http://www.zatovisualworks.com/trainz/tcn/tcn_volume_1/

And also as a perennial tribute to John's, Ian's (How you doin´, my friend  ) and all the TCN collaborators' great work, please remember that the on-line single issues for July and August 2010 are available too as long as I keep being a trainzer beyond the 22nd century, if women can survive :hehe: :
