Arrow CSX Berkshire Sub

The route is alive and well. I sent the route on CD down under and they should have it in hand at this point. With all the forum problems I haven't bothered them about the upload status.

You can view details about the route here:

The route is over the file size limit for the DLS. A CD was sent to someone at Auran so they could upload it, since only they can bypass the size limit.
It's not on the DLS yet.

Boldri,

What is "BKVD"?

From what exact website did you order the DVD that has the CSX Berkshire Sub?

I'd like to order it also.

I didn't even think of looking at this before I designed the route..Hind sight is always 20 20. I should get one just to see how close I came.

What happened to this route??

Will Auran put it on the dls or can we get a cd made up from You.
I'm sure you would receive lots of interest in this railroad.

I'm posting this just to reactivate the thread before it gets lost in the forum.
Everyone interested should post a reply on here.

Thanks to all.
Bob

Exclamation

I've corresponded with Auran several times. They assure me the route is going to be uploaded. The delay is caused by the forum work they needed to do + other web related stuff.

I have been running the route at home now for a couple of weeks using over 450 pieces of rolling stock attached to some 20+ trains.

This route will have low frame rates, particularly in the yard of West Springfield and Palmer vicinity, if you have allot of rolling stock.

I will wait another week to see if it gets uploaded. If not I may make other arrangements.

My system : AUSU A8N32 MB/ AMD Dual Core OPTERON 170 2Ghz Proc OC'd to 2.47/ 2 Gigs OCZ PC4200 RAM/ and EVGA 7800GT PCI x-press Video card.

Do not worry about time, .... we are patient...

I think the upload will take more time, because Auran team was fully on recovery of this forum.

Unavailable SD80MAC for TRS is worse, than a few more weeks of waiting.....<img>

Thanks doolinator.

I brought this up just to give this post a boost so it would not get lost on the forum.

Maybe Auran will upload it for the Holidays

Thanks again.

Doolinator, it's clear that Auran IS NOT going to upload this route. You should probably just put it on your site, if you want to release it.

Just found out that Auran has their holidays now. But, they've still proven to be unreliable in this matter, since you sent the CD to them early this month.

I'll be watching for this, as I'm attempting to model the W. Springfield to Palmer section, but haven't been able to find all the DEMs I need. Nice job!

Default route available on cd

I'm considering making this route available on CD. My website has a max limit on file size so I can't post it there. I've waited for months for Auran to upload the route. They have it on CD I guess they are just not interested. I've sent messages to them on 4 separate occasions. Just need feedback from everyone. I'm only going to charge what it will cost me to get it on CD and mailed out.

The Cd will contain:
Route - summer mode
Route - winter mode
All content
Base sessions for both seasons

If feedback is positive I can make it available. I will need to set up a Paypal link on my web site. More to come after I read responses next week.

Thanks
Doolinator
