Todhills station, on the old NER line from Spennymoor:

Although the station closed to passengers in 1867 the engine shed remained open until 1922 and goods traffic continued into the 1930s. The station buildings remained in place until at least 1950.

Somewhere in Northern Maryland...(fictional)

The tracks used to be part of a spur of the Western Maryland, linking it with a PRR branch running on the opposite side of the river.

While my posts can never compare to the works of art some people post in here, I still like to show what my medeocre brain can come up with...

Looking north (I believe) towards where the lines used to run to Johnsonville, which was a minning town that dryed up back in the 1910s. Note no trafic in the morning, an odd charachteristic of Empire City, and the highway that runs through it, HWY 68.

edit: wow I did not realize my mountain came to an end. I shall fix that, but not change the screeny.

New Haven MU waits at the bumper to go back to Grand Central with the abandoned Ridgefield Line in the foreground.
