Forum Suggestion Box

Since there is no apparent place and is off subject to the Suggestion Toolbox for trainz version ideas, I thought I would just put here in General, so...
#1- I feel there needs to be a suggestion thread for the forums like this!
#2- My first suggestion is that supscriptions to threads be an option, not default every time one post a reply to the thread! As it is now, the member must un-subscribe from threads they comment in everytime they post if they do not want thier subcription box over-filled.

About your number two item, check your profile to see if it is set up to subscribe by default to all threads you post in.

Because I don't get subscribed to threads I post in by default, and have to do that manually, making me thing there has to be a setting in the profile for the user that controls this, and you and me have it set opposite.

It's in your User Control Panel (click User CP above) under Edit Options, not your Profile.

I see nothing to set subscriptions in either place! It is not a date cutoff I want, is that what you refer?

AC - In the User CP click on Edit Options and there is an option called 'Defualt Subscription Mode' in the 'Messaging and Notification' section.

OK, I see it now, "do not subscribe" Correct? Been in these forums for a long time and never did see that! Wonder what else I missed without any directives! And so, the first How To has been submitted!
