Help on Uploading Routes

Sampug394

I'm back. >:]
To anybody Out there in these Forums that Knows a lot about Routes, I'd like a little Help...

Currently, I'm working on a new 30NG Coal Hauling Rail Line called the "Golde Coast Railway", and a 42NG/3ft 6in, named the "Dry Hills Ry." They Both won't take too much longer to Complete, and since I'm Relatively Newer, and Have NEVER Uploaded any Content, I'd like some Information and any Details on how to do so...

...I have an Idea from reading around these Forums a bit on how to Generally Upload Routes, but I'd also like to know how Exactly I should to put in a Preview Image for both Routes...

I Appreciate any Help from Anybody! Thanks Much...

This will be a help to me too. Can I also ask how you go about editing text for a description of the route - and how you go about adding people you want to acknowledge as a list? I have delayed putting a route up as I was a bit unsure of some of these passing points.

I'm pretty sure that if you just crack open the config and put the info in the "description" tag, it should work. (after you commit it, that is) :)

Also, welcome aboard, Sampug!

Actually, Interestingly Enough, I DO Know how to put in Custom Text Descriptions. In the Content Manager, Find the Route, and Right Click on it to bring up the Menu. Then Click "Asset Details", and in the Window on the Lower Right, There should be a Open White Text Box, where you put in the Description... :)

Actually, I Have put in a Description for the 30NG Railroad, and I even Just Told rjhowie2 how to do so, but thanks for the Welcome too... :D

I've heard/read that People add Thumbnails by opening the Content in the Windows Explorer Folder, and Adding a Picture, though, im concerned whether there is Special Name it needs, and If there's a Size too...

Thanks for that Link! The Only Problem I'm worried about is, Even though I have Photoshop 5 LE, (And I need to reinstall it,) What if any Person doesn't Have Photoshop? Can MS Paint be used in any Way as a Replacement?

Yes Paint can be used as well, so if you want you can hold on Photoshop and use Paint instead. Remember that when you put in the code that is mentioned in the link into the config file, you have to place the image in the folder in order for Trainz to find the image. Also, make sure the image size is 240x180 pixels. You would then commit the item in Content Manager (if you have TRS2006 or up), and bam, the image should show up.

There is something I need clarified a wee bit here. Putting in the text description of the route process as indicated in this thread is understood. What I need to query is that there is normally a seperate area from the route description though where the maker has a list of people he wants to thank.

That's also in the Description! There should be a Line of test, (Unless you Deleted it,) That Reads:

"Contributors (Dependencies):
<ul style="
