The Classical IBerTrainZ Winter Screenshot Competition is on now

Here you are. A classical one... the 7th Edition now opened to all registered users of Auran Trainz.

7th IBerTrainZ Winter Screenshot Competition 2008-2009

Basic -very basic- and simple rules.

1.- Entrants: Ibertrainzers and/or registered users at Trainz Auran Planet.


2.- Screenshots (maximum 2 per entrant and previously unreleased) topic is winter but not just snow. In tropical countries it is rainy season and on the southern hemisphere summer is starting; of course, screenshots must be taken while in Driver mode and no menus shown (press F5 to hide them). Any version of Trainz is welcomed. Any era, rolling stock, landscape or like is welcomed too.


3.- Please keep coherence; i.e. no electric locos without catenary, we have an accurate tool for trainzers lacking memory or coherence --> Ms. could rush in .


4.- Technical features: .jpg images uncompressed; max. resolution 800x600 u 800x640, and no artistic filtering, please.


5.- Submission Term Deadline : Friday, January 30th 2009, at 24.00 GMT -1.


6.- Prizes for the winner and two runners-up:

• A Digital Diploma and, as always, some exclusive IBTZ asset.

• Winning screenshots will be covered cum laude on our site homepage, and the rest of them on a special website. And all of them over here, of course.

• The materialistic prizes (nobody is entrying for them, for sure, are you? ) graciously sponsored by Friendware (The Spanish publisher of Trainz) - http://www.friendware.es:

Winner: Trainz Simulator 2009 Friendware version

First and second runners-up: The same (why discrimination?) Trainz Simulator 2009 Friendware version

Please note that TS2009 Friendware version will be released in early 2009 Q1, so please winners should be patient since a short lapse of time could exist between the winning announcement and the prizes being shipped to them.


7.- Merciless Panel of Judges : IBTZ staff members (we are four of us) who will vote being unaware of entrant ID.


Screenshots must be submitted to this e-mail address capturas[@]ibertrainz.eu, (please remove []) pointing out your Auran Planet nickname.
