Oh why oh why oh why?

Gmax setup gone wrong, 2 error messages in one day, today is not my day.

And this is what happens when I try to set it up:

Setup as in loading it up or installing ?

That looks like you possibly either have a corrupted installation file, or some malware on your computer.

You can download G Max 1.2 again from:

(Download speed can be a bit slow at times)

gmax requires a registration code when you first start up, which you can no longer get. The following file is a workaround provided by simviation:

ftp://www.simviation.com/47misc/Gmax_1_2_Reg.zip

If it is installing okay, but you can't run gmax, try deleting the gmax.ini and PlugIn.ini files from the main Gmax folder (it will rebuild them on start up) as corrupted *,ini files are frequently the cause of gmax failing to start!

On the first start up, gmax will ask you to register

For Trainzers, you will also need the Trainz Plug In obtainable from:

http://www.auran.com/trainz/creation/Trainz_Asset_Creation_Studio.zip

I got gmax working now.

That is not quite accurate, managed to get a code tonight, (11-13-08) at http://www.turbosquid.com/registergmax/ by simply registering.
