WL&G, SW-1500

(enter witty phrase here)
"This is a reskin of JoshEH and Jaleel's SW1500 model. It aliases their original BN SW1500 (KUID:47092:2628) and, as such, requires that you also have that model installed. However, it is NOT available on Auran's Download Station, but instead is avaiable at http://www.digital-tracks.com/released_contentframe.html."

I was after this loco, but the website must be kaput. Can anyone help?

As you can probably guess, one of the annoying things about relying on content that isn't on Auran's official Download Station is that personal websites are often very short-lived. :( Currently kuid:47092:2628 is hosted on USLW's website at the following address:

Enjoy the SW-1500, and I hope all is going well for you!

Okay, i am having the same problem, which is now somewhat solved and a new one has taken its place. I downloaded the SW-1500 posted here, but how do i install it?

Which version of Trainz do you use?

The file provided is a zip file, so the first step is to unzip it using either the facilities built into Windows or a program like WinZip.

If you're using TRS2004, the next step is easy -- just copy the unzipped files into your TRS2004/World/Custom/ folder.

If you're using TRS2006 or Trainz Classics, the installation is more complex. Start the Content Manager Plus (CMP) and use "Import Content" from the File menu. Choose the folder in which you unzipped the SW1500 files, and click OK. If you don't have your preferences set up to automatically commit new content, you'll also have to remember to commit the models you just imported.

Well, I'm using XP Pro SP3, and I would right click on it and choose "Extract Here" so that the CDP extracted to the desk top.:)

Download WinRAR. It is all that you need. Also, Josh really made some nice content, and seems to be a very nice person from the limited contact that I had with him. Maybe one day he will be back.

Thanks.

I never could get them to show .... but I finaly was successful. Once you have the 3 Kuids showing in your PC downloads, use the CMP or CM to: File/Import Content (as these are plain files, and are not CDP's).
