As part of our continuing effort to improve the Trainz user experience we have performed an error checking parse over every asset on the Download Station. During this parse we have identified several of your assets as requiring repair. These assets are as follows:
<KUID:36638:26010> - canaltug1
<KUID:36638:10047> - gaffrig 1
<KUID:36638:10018> - towpath200m
<KUID:36638:26006> - narrowboat8
<KUID:36638:26013> - woodbt1
<KUID:36638:10000> - dock quay 10m
<KUID:36638:10001> - dock quay 50m
<KUID:36638:27021> - lifeboatstn1
<KUID:36638:26012> - barge1
<KUID:36638:50002> - Dummy Bogey
In order to improve the Trainz experience for all players we are endeavoring to repair or remove all faulty content on the Download Station. As such we would greatly appreciate it if you are able to upload repaired versions of these assets. Repaired assets can be uploaded via the standard asset upload process in Content Manager or via the Auran website.
If you are unable to repair the assets yourself we will be allowing the community the opportunity to provide fixed versions. The faulty assets listed above will be made publicly available for repair 8 weeks from the date this email was sent. If you wish to provide your own repaired version please do so by this time.
For full details about this important process, please visit the Trainz wiki here:
I have enclosed an extract from the email above.
I no longer use Trainz. I no longer have a version of Trainz. I no longer use or have a copy of gmax. I no longer have any of the original meshes I made.
So if anybody wishes to repair or upload ANY! of my content it is up to them, otherwise by the way the email reads it will end up deleted?
I have no idea if appropriate to post the details here but again just delete or remove the post if preferred.
The dummy bogey was just a few lines of text I think but no idea now as so long ago so you can forget that one.?
Barry
Of course if they ever make Tranzsportation (going back 8 years) and bring the canal world and docks alive of Liverpool c1800 and the Ellesmere Port Canal Complex, then of course you can count me in, as Trainz has a fine scenery designer which is wasted on just using it for trains.
