Woody,

I, too, am sorry to hear of the loss of your grandfather.

Thank You.

Yesterday we had the dedication at the Esquire and it went exactly how he would have wanted it, everyone swapped stories about him, laughed and had a great time.

His barstool says,
Gary Wright
"Leonard the egg man"
Leonard the egg man was his codename during a drug bust years ago, when he knocked at the door, they asked who was there, he said, "Leonard the eggman."

I'll share a funny story about him,
Him and his bartender Tracy made a bet after he had a little to much to drink one night, this bet was themed after an upcoming political election, my grandfather a die-hard Republican and Tracy a devoted Democrat!
She can't remember her side of the bet, but his was if his politician lost, he must sing 'I am Woman, hear me Roar" in front of the nightly crowd...he lost.
And true to his word, he sang it and belted it out too!

Once Again, thanks everyone for their support it has been much appreciated.

I'll end this thread with one final word,

"I love you Grandpa, and may God bless you in your eternal life. Amen"

Gary Micheal Wright

Oh my god man, that's terrible.. I'm so sorry for your loss, it sounded like you and your family were really close to him. Unfortunately it happens to everyone but it's a thing nobody should have to deal with.

My deepest condolences,
cam

Sorry to hear of your loss too. Unfortunately I can relate to you. I lost my grandfather to lymphatic cancer almost 7 years ago and my grandmother to liver cancer less than a year to this date.

Stay strong and God bless you.

Much like what Tyler said, there's only so much that can be said after all of these other replies - but my condolences go out to you and your family. Awfully sorry to hear about your loss, everything's gonna be alright in the end.
