I think you'll find that almost everything that the creators make in Europe are very useful in one way or another. This is only 1 website, there's stacks of others around in Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, etc, etc, etc, etc......Best thing I can suggest is to go onto the foreign language forums and have a look at some of the websites you will find touted about in some of the posts, you don't have to be able to speak the language, just look at the pictures and see what takes your fancy.....Best forums for the Eastern Europeans are the German and Polish threads, but, look at all the other countries as well, everything is useful, it's an absolute goldmine of information......You can also look at some of my previous posts also, I've given out lots of helpful information to Trainzers as to where to look for stuff....

Happy Trainzing.

Thankz ;) I speak Italian, so I'm alright in their forum, and most of the Spanish makes sense, I just wish I knew a bit more German, would be helpful when I want to ask questions that are hard to translate. I guess Google Languages will come through for me there

Thanks again for the help. :)

4 class 47's were required to appear at the Industry for a special event, they were 47596, 47526, 47172 and 47192 (D1842)
47596.jpg

47596 goes off to pick up the other 3 waiting class 47's. I now realise I missed out the high intensity light... doh!

47596 leads 47172, 47526 and D1842.
D1842.jpg

To gain access to the industry, the locos needed to reverse and cross over to gain access to the single line branch, meaning D1842 had to take charge. As can be seen, the locos were running as 0Z47.

On display at the Industry. Once the even was finished, the locos proceeded to the nearby sheds for stabling.

What happened to the 159s then, on the Brighton services? ;-)
Firstly, it's the wrong end of Reading station for the Brighton service. Secondly, the era that image is set in is probably before the Brighton service started. And thirdly, the 159s weren't being used on workings into Reading at that time - class 207s were :)

47819.jpg
47819 is seen with a very diverse mixed freight. Unfortunately, this loco got stuck on a seemingly invisible gradient! Luckily, I still had D1842, 47596 and 47172 still on the map from the previous session, and were rushed to free 819...

electra I was refering to the fact that atleast one end has got a buckeye and the other stock has drawgear ;0

Hi folks

My first vehicles for Britain.

Well, the photos for the textures were taken in Australia but I'm led to believe that the Peugeots are very common in the UK as well. They could of course be used on any route, but I wanted to use these vehicles to get "my foot in the door" so to speak as far as British vehicles/content goes.

I'm still waiting on a clearance before uploading, I've used a license plate texture off one of Shoves' taxis, thanks in advance to Shoves.:D

Anyhow, I've constructed two Peugeot 307s, a two door coupe and a 5 door wagon.

I hope these are able to be used in many routes.....

I am wanting to model more British vehicles, my sig has the details.:)

Thanks folks.

Very nice (& useful). Just one thing to note - UK rear licence plates have a yellow background. I'll have to get round to taking some pics of the vehicles on my drive (RAV4 & Hyundai Excel)...

Great pics everyone - the 47 is looking especially nice...

BR Class 08

I've spent ages reading through this topic its great! Some really fantastic images. So I thought I'd have a go, these are from a small UK branch line i'm making. Two BR Class 08s passing a farm house and signal box. The period is supposed to be late late 1960s. The time is 1800 hrs and its typical English day, raining.

First try at screenies so any feedback is appriciated!

Very nice, looks like it will be an atmospheric route.

A couple of notes regarding the class 08 shunters; the blue livery started appearing in the 1970s, there are, however two green versions on the DLS appropriate to the 1960s. These locos can be numbered in surveyor, a range from 08001-08958 would be suitable for the blue version or TOPS green, the green one with the D on the side accepts a 4 figure number, pick anything from 3000-4192.

Hello Gnasher and welcome to our little forum......

I like composition and lighting in a photograph, so, you've made a good start with these screenshots. The more addicted you get playing Trainz, the more screenshots you will want to take, and trying a few different types of angled shots are always pleasing, and with the amount of wonderful locomotives and rolling stock available, and, still being created of course, you've stacks of things to take screenshots of......:)

Yeah, I noticed that half way through the session, I thought both ends had buffers, at least it had the correct number! (310332)

the wagon has now been dumped in a yard, as a cripple.
