Neat theme. You may want to explain it a bit more though. For US stuff at least, are you referring to First Gen diesels? If so, then anything made after the U25b would be considered second gen.

One from me for this week
Not strictly historic, but they are quite old Italian Diesel cars (ALn668’s) used from the 1950s.
However, if they are not old enough I can claim that they were extensively used around the Italian lakes for the morning commuter runs. Starting out at approximately 0530hrs they thus qualify as “Early Diesels”!

The theme is "early diesels"- I don't recall it saying "early era diesels" vs. "early morning diesels"- I believe that was the play that was being made.:hehe:

I considered putting an Amtrak train in, and claiming that it was arriving into the station 10mins early (which is unheard of for Amtrak, which usually runs 2hrs late).
