Train-a-Mania
...for 49 episodes, we've looked at routes and rolling stock for a variety of simulators. However, I often see questions about what simulator is the best overall. Is it possible to choose just one? We'll find out in this special episode featuring scenes from different simulators (including Trainz)...at the railyard!

The question is rhetorical, didn't you watch the video?

Which is the best is up to the user, they all have strengths and weaknesses. There is no best.

I've always been a fan of At The Railyard. and in truth I've never watched it for the contents of an episode, but for how the film is presented; the editing, journalism and music. I can see the various pros and cons a sim can bring, and each, just as Nick said, have their strengths and weaknesses. Having owned 2 train sims in my lifetime I can say that they are different, good and bad for different reasons, and while I can say that Trainz is my current choice, there are certain features of MSTS, Railworks and Run8 that makes me question why I don't choose something different, whether it is game features, DLC or computer-performance reasons, only a person who owns all the sims and uses them can fully appreciate what they can do and with that, make a statement of which is best.

Anyway, Congrats on 50 episodes of "At The Railyard" Nick, I look forward to the next 50 :)p) as well as other Mainline Productions that befalls the world of Railway Simulation.

Cheers
Tim

Nick's videos always inspire. I own them all and "play" with all of them. Makes for a richer world.

They all look great in Nick's videos.

Keep up the good work.
