Modern Reefer container not on road vehicle

Petan

I am looking for a modern mechanically [eg diesel powered not ice] refrigerated container [Reefer] by itself. That is, not already on a container railcar / wagon and not on a rubber tyre [tire] road vehicle. Either 20 or 40 or 53 foot size.
I want to stack a few at an industry for perishables such as food processers etc
No luck at the download station unless I am not using the correct search terms.
Thanks for any advice

I made some 39134:102448,102450,102451.102452,102453,102454.102458,102459. They're CRYO-TRANS reefers.
They're Industry enabled with a load, sound and dust effects.

Thanks your rail cars with reefer bodies are great but they are rail cars not containers by themselves.

I am looking for modern reefer containers by themselves not on rail vehicles or road vehicles.

I had already downloaded your reefer railcars and have them operating similar to the "Produce Railexpress" article by Roy Blanchart in Trains magazine earlier this year. Extremely useful and modern rail cars :)

Hi Petan,

search under; 20ft, 40ft containers.

user kuids; 37235, 49267, 61119, 62941 and 99907 all have made containers
as static objects. I think I saw some refigirated but am not sure.
If you can't find any refr container(s) provide me with photo's and dimensions of them and I will make them for you.

Just realised that you are running an early version of Trainz, I won't be able to upload to that version.
So the offer above is not much use to you, sorry.

Cheers,

Bill.

Hi Bill and thanks for your help!

I am using Trainz 2010 on another [younger!] family member's computer.

The kuids you listed describe the containers as reefers but the image after downloading and viewing in trainz 2010 does not have the refrig unit on the end.

These websites below are similar to the type of items I seek, 20 or 40 foot etc Normal size or high cubic.

I have searched the TrainZ 2010 static containers for a fridge unit on the nose but no joy.
I would be grateful for any help if you want to make one as there are thousands of these reefer containers in the real world and thus would be very useful for trainz.

I see from your profile you are a retired interstate truckie so I guess you have hauled hundreds of these and are very familiar with the container frig units so any version of the common frig units would be good. No particular manufacturer or size.

Thanks
Peter C

Excellent :) :)

That fridge nose is perfect :) :)

Many I have seen look like that without the clip on diesel generator set :)

Thanks
Peter

Well, Willem2 has made and sent me refrigerated/freezer [reefer] containers that are just perfect :) :)

They are two different brands as well as one with a nose mounted diesel generator. What more could you ask for :)

You will see from this thread that Ghosty also was a help in this miracle :)

They will appear on the DLS soon. Willem2's kuid is 97008.

Thanks Bill!!
