James,

Thank you for your kind words. I went ahead and updated the model a few days ago and added the canopy. Now that I look at it I'm as satisfied as can be and I'm likely going to leave it there because it seems like it is closest I will get. It still needs the additional details and I have since removed the temporary textures and will be making new textures for the model when the time comes. I'll feel a little more motivation to get moving again when I have the latest copy of TransDEM and have a copy of the New York area in DEM format. In the meantime I had started on the Municipal Building and the Brooklyn Bridge as well. At the moment I am working on wrapping up a technical college course so I've been wholly focused on that. BUT, in a month I'll be back and working on this stuff.

Ok...so what started with me messing around with the SRRL route on the DLS, ended with me deleting part of the line and making an interurban/radial railway out of it:

And there was a mysterious visitor, too:

A small fictional town in the expanses of Russia. The old tram depot, half sold to private owners. Used as tramcar's repair workshops and depots for service tramcars.

Plans for future expansion past Ashby. I want to add five more stations to the line, three of which the express will stop at.

It's always a pleasure for me to see when other people expand or change the service lines of the Metro route to their liking. Looks great, Boymer25.

R36 with new paint schemes of the Metro de Madrid.
The first is the Thousand stripes .
The second was unique to the 2000 Series .
And the third is similar to the current blue.
