Japan

gotta say pagroov, that little area has changed a lot over the years. Houses have been replaced by apartment complexes and there are now office buildings near by. Say is that cute little dmu crossing over the bridge going to a branch line? I've been making a few of them in my route just for those little darlings LOL!! Great Job so far. The temple park pic is pretty cool too. Like how you took the pic form the bridge.

Hiroshi: Tokyo Tower looks great!! Another J-landmark to add to the collection!!

nice shot there Syahrudin. I see Tokyo Tower at night and the first thing that flashes into my mine is one of the Sailor Moon episodes. LOL!! Great job so far Hirochi!! :)

Titanicchristo: So what prompted you to redo the base of your crossings?

As for little ole me? I've made some progress on one of my routes, The West Sanito future add on to the main layout now sports 2 branch lines going north and south from West Sanito City, a containerl yard right next to the commuter train yard, and finally the last and final stop of the bullet train complete with yard/repair shop. I still got a ways to go but it's getting there slowly. Enjoy.

@ Hirochi

That's very nice. That should give some more variation to the Temple Complexes.
Are you also doing Osaka or Himeji Castles? And/or the Tokyo Skytree? Just giving ideas not asking anything ;). I'm very happy with all the nice content you make.

@ Railshuttle. Very good progress. of your route. When do you start the texturing? Are you doing the details first and then the texturing? When do you plan to release a v1 version?

Anyway keep up the good work.:).

Pagroove: Well as of now I'm mainly working on the track work and adding buildings to mark locations of stations and stuff. I won't do any of the finer detailing until I get both routes connected and I'm still working on the S.I.R.L main route as well. I do have sort of a drivable beta of the West Sanito Line. PM me if you're interested in checking it out.

Hirochi: I see you're updating the temples now. Cool!! I'm hoping you can crank out some of the famous castles soon as well.

Question : best route to run the japan steam engines on?

Been running them on Murchision 3'6" but it would be nice to find a large suitable japan layot that would give them all a nice run.

any ideas they are loaded in TS12 at moment but willing to reload them into higher version.

Well done on the new and (updated) Japanese temples and the Tokyo Sky Tower, would you consider a 1/2 size tower to fit into a model railway layout - tried the current tower but it shoots through the roof LOL!
Keep up the good work with Japan content - maybe one day we will get folks onboard from Japan with some great layouts as well.

This poor guy is going to be phased out according to the Tokyo Times today. No wonder this E4 looks so sad. It's a double-deck Shinkansen.

O no another classic gone :(. Is is only the yellow striped one or all E4's. Luckily we have two variants now in Trainz. Edited to add. I read they wil be phased out. So it is not a last run situation. So next year they will be there only fewer.
