UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Hi all,

A shot of my WIP - updating the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway. here a Class 03 trundles across Stanway Viaduct with a single GWR 'Toad' brake van. The GWR is available to buy from my site for £5, the upgrade will come free in the following weeks.

Thanks for the comments - the DMU is Arraial's rebuild of the old WSR one, and as for release, well, that depends on your definition of nigh! The as built version (no gangway connectors or lights etc) is aboout done, as is the preserved version, but with no scripting I'm not sure how much appeal they might have TBH.

Some images of Borough Market Junction in the summer of 2011, Britain's most notorious bottleneck.

The classic Borough Market Junction aerial shot taken from the Shard Skyscraper. The new Thameslink progamme viaduct can be seen, still under construction.

Evening peak hour trains loaded with commuters wait to enter the bottleneck, it's quite common for trains to be held for anything up to half an hour here.

A Class 375 passes over the double track section of the junction, the cause of the bottle neck. In the background can be seen Southwark Cathedral and on the far right The Shard skyscraper.

Technically a virtual model railway, but the Vale of Penwal, even without the St. Muriel branch, has the true feel of a narrow gauge railway. In keeping with the original model, it uses Ed Heaps' original-designed freelance tank locomotives and beautiful barns. The 2mm-gauge line worked out at a grand 3 baseboard marvel, though my computer isn't the best so I don't have the best graphic settings...sorry about that.
