UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Indeed, the 4MT does look quite a lot better than your first iteration. :) I can't place my finger on it however she does look a tad dark when compared to my 2MT's, however I'm not sure if there is a huge difference or it's just my eyes.

In any case, would you like the RGB value for my 2MT's since the colour choice seemed to go down well with everyone? :)

Jack

Heh, it can't hurt. I do believe I sampled it off of your texture but it's never the same when the bake's applied, not to mention the cloud layers and weathering. XD I might put it next to the 2MTs to compare myself...

Is that a 506? I can't tell, the doors look wrong for for a 506 but I certainly wouldn't mind one given my latest project...

No, as Paul502 pointed out, its a Class 503 EMU. You possibly won't recongise it as one yet as I got the shot hiding the worst part which is right at the end of the carriage. Also, there is no trailer car as yet. (I'm only doing the DMBS ATM just because I haven't had a chance/time to deal with the other carriages.)
The other dead give away is the shoebeams which I need to start shortening the bogie a bit. (as they were some 6in to 1ft shorter than the 502s! IIRC - I'd have to look at the diagrams again.) Also, the model has no end doors yet as I'm doing that variant first. (The doors were added around 1971 to 1976 or so).

Its slow progress. :'(
I have to agree with Rob Very nice. A little bit of rivet counting, I have noticed its a 1956 built motor coach !

Correct! I was waiting for someone to notice. :) There were only "minor" variants between the 1938 builds and the 1956 builds.

Looks good so far!
Anyway, I promised a winter version of Woodhead and here it is!

If only someone would do a decent EM2...
(Apologies for the seasonal inappropriateness :hehe:)

I'm not very satisfied with this shade of BR green, but it works for now...
*Edit* And an updated green shade for comparison. The latter color is much better, no?

Been a while since I've posted anything. I started re-playing Grand Theft Auto IV (after years of having a low-quality laptop I decided to try it again on my self-built PC), and ended up getting inspired by the elevated lines on the subway network. I already had a subway system in the city, however it now has elevated lines.

(I may or may not have staged these ;))

A Class 508 sits at Riverside Station unloading its passengers, on its way out of the city towards one of the neighbouring towns.

Two class 73s and a load of Ballast Wagons pass Riverside Station on their way to a section of track currently being replaced on the line, the noise of such a heavy freight train thundering over a metal "viaduct" disturbing many of the residents of the high-rise buildings.

Onboard a Pendolino rushing out of Newbury (Fast) Tunnel, past the site of Newbury Station. The slow line platforms are behind the wall on the right:

Nice screen shot Paul!

It reminds me to some countryside old ROWs I have seen during my time in Scotland from 1996 to 97.
Fortunately this one here is still in operation :)
