Greetings.

Rail is the epitome of mass transportation. No other form of transport today comes to how fast and efficiently it can move copious amounts of people and goods. This week's theme is Hectic. Please send your theme suggestions for subsequent competitions via email or Skype by clicking on the little icons below my username.

One screenshot allowed per entrant. Screenshots must adhere to the theme and the Trainz Forum Code of Conduct.

HEAVY TRAFFIC AT BUTTE DEPOT

It was a messy day at Butte Depot this morning as 3 trains tried to keep their schedules. The 8:15 AM Wrong Island RR Commuter Deluxe gets going on time, allowing a the 8:17 AM Pennsy Passenger to move out on the Main Line. And then it's time to let the Mixed Freight start off.

The day was drawing to a close for the folk seeking to go home as they had children who had school and other people had work the following day. The station platform filled with hectic activity of parents having the daunting task of keeping their cranky, tired children occupied or from running off. Argh, the joy of a day out in the hot sun and too much candyfloss. The carriages pulled by the Ka.

(fictitious route)

Hectic at the Junction

It's always hectic for the signalman at The Junction, with expresses and local passenger trains, local goods and heavy freight on the 4-track main line as well as local goods and passenger traffic crossing the main line to and from the 2-track branch line - not to mention local shunting.

It's a cold evening and a light snow is starting to fall as passengers rush to board their trains to get home for the holidays.
