I bring before you today a quaint railmotor, Queensland Railways' RM64, 'The Bug'. She is currently stored at the Rosewood Railway Museum.

She has a 75HP Ford V8 engine. Yes, 75HP from a V8. It was the thirties and the compression ratio of the engine was high enough for you to be able to run it on nearly anything. RM64 is also built on the chassis of a Model T Ford. The control layout is also the same as a right-hand-drive 'T'. How do I know? I've ridden in a Model T, and I got to park RM64 back in its shed after its demonstration run was complete.

hi, i have only just stumbled across this website while doing some research for my train blog. i am so glad to see i am not the only train tragic on the web! i hope to try to visit this page every few days or so now that i know it is here!

i have been photographing trains and train stations for over a year now, and i started a blog to show off the stations on the queensland rail network. it probably wont equal any great standards like what i have read on here today, but if anyone is interested in seeing some of my shots and reading about my (sometimes amusing) journeys on the trains of the queensland network, you may just find my little blog interesting. i am sorry i am not the best when it comes to english! i hope you enjoy my photos even if you dont read the text!

That 611 restoration looks to me like it is going to be a very intensive and extensive work. All the wonderful paint and accessories are hiding the years of toil which are revealed after peeling off the outside.

During the Presentation and tour, the project director still said the estimated time to finish would still be 6-9 months. I guess there isn't as much work as it looks.

Anyways, here's a few more from the train show in Spencer.
