Built in Content all of a sudden flags errors and won't get accepted to DLS. I HAVE No idea what to do about it ... clicking the link to their Help support page is not available anymore.
I made many versions of this route & its sessions ,just obsoleted quite a few of the older ones. Now the latest one refuses to get accepted. I did an extensive database repair. no luck so far
is a multiplayer session but has dependencies that are not builtin and not available on the Download Station (<kuid2:44179:60006:1>,Coal Hopper,<kuid2:44179:60006:1>

Lineaxe - it's quite simple really. If it's not your own content it will not be accepted by the Download Station unless it's something you claimed as part of the Download Station cleanup project. This basically means you should only upload the content that you have created not including any dependencies.

Well I believe that helps me out. The process of uploading their content is getting flagged. When I populate a route & session , I am populating it out of the Object, train, track and other content I have found inside of surveyor. So when I send the route back to DLS ,I am basicly saying put this content in that location on my route. I don't try to upload/ download ,whatever to it. Just place it on the map .. If I don't put a reference to an object , say the coal hopper , it won't show up on the route or it's sessions. So when I send updated versions of a map ,some pieces have been changed, moved about ,deleted and so on . This gets reflected in the new copy of the route . If I am using a piece , I have a dependency to it . So all in all , How do I remove this dependency so I don't send it back up to DLS and yet still have the piece being used on my route?? (the coal hoppers for example again) . Actually we have been stumped on this problem with a few different routes now. These errors come up , but we not sure what to do ....

What method are you using to upload to the Download Station? Also, if you've modified any of the built-in content, it needs to be reverted to original.

Shane

I just used the File upload method in Content creator Shane. Before that I went to the Trainz website and uploaded all my content that way using the Standard Upload button. It had always been accepted that way until the last time I did it with the very same Route and session maps . None of the assets were modified by me. I never changed a track, object, train . Just edited the route and the session rules , stuff like that. There should really be no messages like these at all , I mean I sent the same route and sessions up there for over 6 months as I was developing it. Never had this problem. All of a sudden the Coal Hopper,TRS coal hopper and other small Built in Assets FAIL ???? Never touched them at all...
Really would love to get the final version of this route up, I just added the Blue Comet steam Engines back into it and they run around the tracks nicely...(Oh just before the failed content flags , I had gone to fix the map because one of the Consists , a caboose had disappeared off the route.)

The addition of your content file 406_11142014.cdp has failed due to the following reasons:

First things first. When using Content Manager to upload content, you need to click Select None when it asks what dependencies to upload.

Secondly, are you using any content from third-party sites in the route?

Shane

Hi , I did select none when it asked what dependencies to upload.
Nothing in the route from 3rd party software. I used the Blue Comets in 3 new Sessions that I created , however. I am guessing they are 3rd party software. I have used them on earlier versions of this route and session with no errors being flagged.
If it is caused by the Blue Comet in some way I would imagine I can try to reinstall the software , I did have routes with them working ... How can I check to see if they are indeed in the route layer somehow and causing problems ?

Hi Shane,
I do believe I installed service pack 1 , my build is 61388 .
Indeed I did look to see if I have any 3rd party content in the route to find I have
CNJ G3s Blue Tender,<kuid:523:1972746>
CNJ G3s Blue,<kuid:523:1972742>
CNJ G3s Black Tender,<kuid:523:1972781>
in the route as Dependencies. ODD that it did not show the Black Engine ,but it does it in the show it as a dependency in some of the sessions. Is this a problem? Should I delete all references from the route and keep the ones in the sessions?

Just deleted all sessions with the BLUE COMET and any reference to them in the Route . I started it under a new Route name with a single session .. Repeated all the stuff to get it back to using the Blue Comets in some scenarios. Sent the whole thing up as the new route with its new sessions. Yet it Still comes back with the above errors flagged.

Also where do I check to see if the service pack is installed?..Pretty sure I did it , but like to check anyhow

The build number will normally help with that - if it's 57720 or higher then you do have SP1 installed. In terms of the errors though, I would double-check that you are not using any content in the session that's from third-party sites like Jointed Rail (although some of JR's content is on the Download Station or available as payware from Simulator Central).

Shane

Well I did notice the errors did start to happen just after I created sessions with Blue Comet consists in them.
I didn't do anything else like look for any 3rd party content . This route and its sessions should be clean from anything that couldn't be found on DLS .. All previous versions made it through the check until I added in the Blue Comets. This track had them on it several versions ago.

If that's the case, avoid using N3V payware content in multiplayer routes/sessions.

Heh, well I don't know if it is the case. I just had this weird issue of consists not being included in the route as I save them. I had only lost the one Caboose when I went to fix the problem. At that time I decided to add back in the Blue Comets. Earlier versions had the Comets running in multiplayer no problem. Now I have taken them out of the route and sent up the route and only sessions without payware (comets) . Last time I did that I still failed. Now , also I am losing consists on the map , they just don't show up after I save the route. I have lost a 2nd caboose and a 40ft N&W boxcar now. I am wondering if something is corrupted that I don't know how to fix. I tried deleting missing assets on the route and nonpayware sessions I just uploaded again . If it still fails I will try to delete the assets that flag errors and download them again from DLS. These are desperate times... This map is so much fun to play with my bro , especially when we get the comets running again!!!

I did a random check on some of the kuids in your list.

TRS_Coal_Hopper,<kuid:-25:905>
Coal Hopper,<kuid2:44179:60006:1>
End of the line 4,<kuid2:67261:29709:1>
fish,<kuid2:119692:90003:1>
fish 3,<kuid2:119692:90004:1>
fish 4,<kuid2:119692:90005:1>
Wooden Howe Truss Bridge,<kuid2:124060:32003:3>

and they all show as not on the DLS (as per the message) but they all show as built in (build 61388).

Is this a change in the rule re what assets are valid in a multiplayer route? I thought that built-in assets in the current build would be available for multiplayer, whether or not they are on the DLS.

OK , final solution was to delete the assets that flagged errors. Now , 2 things about these assets. 1) I have been using and submitting them to DLS for about 3 years now. Never did I have to delete them during that time. 2) They were crucial to gameplay and I had to change MANY session rules and stuff like that after I deleted them . 3) Oh , why not have a 3 ? The game works again now that I deleted all the flagged assets .I also included the Blue Comets and it will be ready sometime this weekend under
Version R .2
(I revised the session maps 2 times since I switched over to version R) . Man those coal hoppers were used everywhere in the game logic :) Anyhow , it is all done ,and Boy do the trains ever haul now.. I always liked running the steam Engines on our maps!!!

Well , I solved the problem of getting my content Rejected by DLS 2 weeks ago by replacing the assets that I had been using for over 3 years now with new and different assets. These consists were the coal cars and were needed everywhere in the logic so I had to modify that as well. Anyhow, finally I got the DLS server to accept the Route & Sessions. Well , It will not let me run any multiplayer Games now, I get the same error I have seen for years when trying to get maps to run. It tries to get something online , then tells me my Local content has been modified and I can't play. I know that statement is not true as I downloaded the Route and its sessions from DLS after removing them from Local content. So I (we) give up on trying to get a multiplayer version of this with our Blue Comets running. I have been playing the single player versions quite a bit. They are still quite fun and challenging . I actually just crashed my steam loco right beside where the other one is in the water( by the bridge). Heh, I had to take a picture of that one, it took me over 90 minutes to get to that part of the mission! All that being said , the latest stable version is now
Dugout 3.7 version R
