Midwest Grain Problems

I recently downloaded the Jointed Rail Midwest Grain 2.0 Content Expansion pack for the Midwest Grain route. When it downloaded, it had 0 problems and 133 warnings. The reason I downloaded the expansion pack is because it said there where 3 sessions included. Now its downloaded, and there are no sessions. Anyone know why they didn't show up? I spent $30 on this, and I don't want to not get what I paid for

Without seeing exactly what any warnings are saying its hard to diagnose whatever problem your having. You could be missing dependencies, things could be open for edit, etc. etc.

Id start at the Open for Edit tab in content manager first. Make sure nothing is open for edit in there. IF anything is select it, right click on it and select Edit, then Commit. Besides that we wold need to know specifically if your missing any dependencies or are getting any faulty notices on any specific pieces of content. These content packs have a lot of content and moving parts so one little thing could be the issue or several.

The route itself has 6 broken and 10 missing dependencies. Also a couple of the locos and rolling stock that where included have missing dependencies.

We would need the missing dependency kuid #'s to help you figure out what exactly you need. More than likely some are either on the download station or on our site. As far as the broken route dependencies not sure but post the broken ones and their Kuids and we can look at that too.

Return to Freedom Yard: All of the above

I would make sure you have the freeware rolling stock from the JR site. There are several items in packs, all of that should be located in the freeware section of our site. If you are still missing items after that, send that list to support@jointedrail ATTN Mike and I will see what they are.

Thanks!

Mike

Ok thanks! All the jointed rail rolling stock?

He wrote all the FREEWARE rolling stock, plus implied the several 'PARTS' (bogeys, couplers, etc.) kit collections. IIRC, the later were in a zip folder and I had to manually expand and then import the cdp files. But my memory is seive-like, so I don't even trust it!

The other thought which occurred to me was to check dependencies of dependencies, as well as versions for updates. The updated kuid may be on the DLS, but since the older one wasn't, the software misses the association until you have something that references an available kuid it can get a full picture from. Mostly that's happened when someone uses the obsolete-table and an entirely new kuid series--An N#V-stupid kind of thing to do, you know?
Good luck // Frank
