Unusal visitor to WP&YRR DSP&P 2-8-6T # 240, just had to find somewhere to try it out, only change anim dist to 3.0 as used by phill for the 2-6-6T

Why did you change the anim dist? Are the wheels diameter different? If not, they will skid or spin if you change the anim dist from the original.

Seemed like they were spinning way to fast even at the slowest speed

The other trucks were set at 2.89 but the main driver was set at 0.89 noticed the same on the loco phill used before I did the change.

I agree with you, 0.89 indicates a very small wheel which would have to spin like mad to keep up.

Ah, Rollins Pass NG. That was one of my favorite routes until I lost some of the dependencies and couldn't use it anymore.

Well it's been a while since I last made a post here. I've made some more progress on the Mojave & Panamint RR, mostly rock work, experimenting with textures, and a new mining branch with a switchback!

And here are some shots of the Whitaker Mine branch.

Actually, believe it or not, that scene is completey out of my head. Although Whitaker was a real mine, this is all guess work as to how it may have looked.

looks good, the rocks used for the cliff faces are really nice, are those the ones that are from Trainz Italia ?
