Building the Wisbech line
Queen, performing their 1989 UK chart hit 'Breakthru'. They filmed their accompanying music video on the Nene Valley Railway, at Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. I believe that some of the money raised by the sales of this classic rock single went to the Nene Valley Railway in return for them hosting the film crew wanting to make the music video there.

Q. Can you identify the type and class of steam locomotive pulling the 'Miracle' express? (clue: her home depot is at Didcot)

Also, she's a GWR something.

See the tender and the fountainy thing?(Don't know what thats for or is called on GWRs lol)

That's one way to identify a engine, does it have LNER,LMS,SR or GWR looks/additions to it?

Least I think shes GWR, may be proven wrong.

Pet shop Boys - Kings Cross

Wrote and released on the album "Actually" 2 months prior to the Kings Cross fire (November 1987) , It was suggested that Pet Shop Boys release it a single to raise money for charity following the fire , but they never did. Music magazines at the time though (such as Smash Hits) carried adverts to call premium rate phone lines to hear the song, and the money from the phone call would then go to the charity for fire victims (Info from Wikipedia).

Some nice shots of HST's etc. at 2.30 mins

Vangelis

This is a concert of Vangelis in 1991. His music combined with some industrial background, like ships, cranes and... an old steam train.

For those not interested in the whole 49 minutes and only want to see the steam train shots, skip to minute 31.

Emjoy!
