The long and winding Route and other works by EPO

I really enjoy this thread. Each shot gives a very nostalgic feel that just isn't achievable anymore in the real world.
 
Hi Epo, You've created something special with this layout mate. I tried to copy it, but you do it far better than I could. Anyway, I'll have some fun with it.

@mcguirel,.............TRAINZ is more than a simple Simulator. It can makes great dreaming and wonderful Worlds on our PC. He is the best Train-Railsimulator for me.

@Roy3b3, I looked on your Page and I've seen very nice long and winding.. Pictures. A good Copy;). Btw. I like your interesting Family History.

@Railwoodman, this long and winding Route Layout is Work in Progress. Topical 5 Miles are finished. I wish to build a Route with 50 Miles lenght. It's a Work for many Month I think.

Cool! The signal gantry's look a bit modern (may I suggest the built-in TS12 PRR one[spline]?) but it still looks great!
 
Similiar ones were around when steam engines still ran. They are older than they look.
Pretty sure I´ve seen some either in DVD called Chicago Odyssee or some 50s "educational" movies...
:)
 
That last shot is just fantastic.:D This route is going to be a real joy to watch come together. Nice job with the screenshots too (Epoche3bis4):D
