not really; it is Ben Neal's SD7/9 model made up to look like the CB&Q's SD24 #504. A true SD24 would have the airtanks roof mounted behind the cab, with a turbo bubble behind the conductor's side. But, with no SD24 model to work with, Ben's model cuts it about as close as it can be. Still a WIP, though :)

Still a good stand in until we get one made.

Surprised we haven't one made since IRM released the EMD diagrams for an SD24 on their website.

Yep, that's the blueprints for her...now if only I was a good 3d modeler, I'd have a go at her! Just pretty much finished up with Ben's model; I like how there are many meshes you can choose from, too bad air tanks wasn't one of them! Here's how she looks now:
