Nice work! I'm impressed with your route creation; you seem to have a knack for the right amount of detail to make a believable scene!

Curtis

No offense guys, but it's his creation, and his railroad. He's got a vision of the locomotive in his mind, and he's brought it to life. In other words, I don't think he's going to be changing the roof.

Love the Consolidation Taylor, great job!

Looks good but personally I liked the red roof better

To me the red roof wasn't saturated enough and it was too dark, not to mention I wasn't digging the textures a full 100%. After I got some help from SteveLerro to get a much better whistle for it, I jumped at the opportunity to make it look a little more how I wanted it to.

Thank you Curtis, you saying that does mean a lot to me. I honestly just studied a lot of Whiteshore and the way it was put together and I wanted to make my own version of it for my railroad, and Andre has noticed that I have studied the way he works. I am very pleased with how it turned out to say the least.

Well it is your locomotive and you can do what makes you happy with it. Nice video.

Updated my overhead system and it looks a lot better to me. However still far from completion, the places with just the grass texture will eventually be forested over like in previous shots.

Also started working on a new industry for the PRR Electric switching operations.

So the story behind the electric line in Rosewood is in the early days of the railroad's construction the PRR had Trackage Rights on the B&O main and moved a B1 from their yard three miles over in the town of Sennica, an A5 would tow the B1 and the cars and bring the B1 to the portion of overhead. The B1 would then run through the streets to get to a big customer of the PRR at the time. The buildings in the neighboring area where the Tracks ran didn't want steam locomotives operating in the area. After a number of years the C&HR purchased the line from the PRR and put in a new line that reached out to their line, and operated small diesel locomotives, like their ALCO boxcab.

Here we see the A5 pushing the B1 to the overhead.

Now that it is under wire and the pan has been put up it can operate through the streets.

Here we see the B1 entering street running trackage pushing it's consist down the street and towards the industry.

Here we see the B1 leaving street running and swooping right behind the theater.

Now that it is at the industry it has to cross a small C&HR industrial spur that runs into down town.

Here is the C&HR operating the same line a number of years later with their 48 Ton Boxcab built by Alco. The overhead stayed in place however the PRR no longer owned the line.

Still Wondering

Asked this about another screen shot which contained it but never received an answer... where did the B-1 electric come from? Is it built-in content for TS2012 or one of the add-on packs? Thanx.

Sorry I didn't reply to you PWeiser. If anyone has questions about my route or content I use in screenshots, best way to ask me is a PM and link me the screenshot in question. I love to answer questions.
