Very nice screen shots escd84! I know when you post something in any thread that it will be good. Those GP38s sure do look good and I will be picking them up when I get my computer back. It is in the shop. It won't boot up anymore. Luckily my Trainz is not on the C drive and is backed up on an external drive too.

Cheers, and thanks for the compliment.
Jack

Ayyyeeee boys, I've been checking in and out of here, and the work here is amazing. I've decided to come back and post a few..

I love the second shot, Enzo! It's quite moody. How did you do it?
Thanks for the compliment. If I recall correctly, the sky itself is Pommie sky 19 from pommie on the DLS. He also has several other fantastic skies that are worth a look. From there, the rest was done with the environment editor to carefully match the sky and lighting colors up with that of a good late spring/summer storm rolling into town. And of course having a good angle helps too. Also helps to be a real life photographer as well.

Hi Chris. Good to see you showing some more of your great screen shots. All three are nice but the second one is also my favourite. That dark sky looks very good. One almost expects to see some jagged bolts of lightning or a funnel cloud in there. Been having skies like your screen shot a lot here the last month or so. Good job!

Thanks Jack, I hope you get the PC back soon and can post some more shots yourself, as this thread is already missing your work!

That's a mighty threatening "no trespassing" notice.
What does the small print say, and does it actually work, i.e., is it real?

Chris, escd84, nice of you guys to post some more of your screen shots! Both of you do excellent work and I like seeing what you're up to. Got my computer back and thankfully it was not a hard drive problem. Haven't had much time to work on my route but here's a shot of a westbound at Neola.

Cheers,
Jack

Escd84, thank you, and what a beautiful shot from you. I've seen some amazing work from you on other threads. You are producing a lot of stunning shots.

Chris, excellent stuff from you as usual as well. It looks a little like fall is coming with the colour in the trees. Sad to say but I've noticed some leaves turning here already.

From me, an eastbound coal train gets scooped at Neola.

VIA, I hope you don't get too comfortable on that rock. Would like to see some more of your work.

I like that shot with the Rocky Mountaineer, escd84. I plan to take a ride on it some day. I'd love to see the Fraser canyon from the train. I've been through there on VIA but it goes through at night unfortunately.

Erik, those are some real outstanding shots...as usual! Beautiful stuff. I like the lighting in the last shot.

I haven't run any steam for quite a while but here is one about a half mile from the west end of Neola.

Cheers everyone,
Jack
