I use a program titled Paint.NET, a cross between Photoshop and MS Paint. Pretty good for the most part, even though I alternate between this and MS Paint

I hate to bump an old thread, but I also hate to start a new one over a topic that already exists. I've added a few new locomotives to my collection and I've also updated some of the 1:18 units

This is an interesting concept. It would be nice if each locomotive painted could make it into Trainz, and eventually a route can emerge.

Perhaps some day....

I would love that, it'd just be a pain for the modeler because the locomotives are unique to themselves. The parts are specific to each locomotive. As for the route, however, the Jointed Rail Midwest Grain route would be perfect

There is one of my older drawings. Slabay made a reskin of Sporbust's C40-8. It's a little outdated based on the constant changes I make to my units but it was very well done. http://valleyrailservices.weebly.com/other-locomotives.html
