My Latest Project: I wanted a break from Spring Creek Central so I started making a Canadian Pacific, Vermont Railway and Amtrak route set in Vermont in 2012-2014

Only baseboards, roads, track and few buildings so far...

NOTE: This route is completely fictional...

Managed a few hours over the weekend -starting with the basics marking out railway, roads, forests, rivers using 1km baseboards and google earth pro, made a few little mistakes but I put that down to inexperiance
The high res shots sure help marking out, progress shots -

Daz, I would love to see more progress on that route. Could you please make a thread for it? It certainly will be interesting.

Hi John,

Yeah sure I'll make a thread for the route progress and how I started off.I watched a few tutorials on Youtube but that involved some 3d program I'm not familiar with.
So I decided to use the 1km baseboards but soon discovered 1024x1024 soon became pixelated and hard to work with.A little more tinkering around and managed to
improve pixelation to more or less high resolution, and what you see now - which makes things a little easier on the eyes:)
