Yes, but "National Train Day" isn't big enough to warrant a day off, so it's held the Saturday before May 10th. Having a holiday on a weekday doesn't correspond well to the general population, so a weekend is the best time anyone can go and celebrate it.
I intend to be at Washington D.C. Union Station for the event. Hopefully for once, I can catch the guest speaker actually open the event. Heck, I hope I can even tour the passenger cars for once
