List of industries

Is there a list anywhere that tells which industries produce and require which products?

Hi countryboy,

I don't think there is a list as such, but there is a flow chart somewhere, just can't remember where to find it. Someone else may be able to enlighten you.

Industry Status

This may help. Install this kuid,,,
Display Industry Status,<kuid2:57145:80101:2 marzipan
In Surveyor go "Edit Session Rules" and add "Display Industry Status"
To use in Driver, hit the "K" key. This will show what industrys
you have available and what their requirements are at that moment.

I've been using this for some time along with "Display Trains".
Both work great. You may want to fiddle a bit with your $string table
to rearrange the way the display status gives you info, like sorting
alphabetically or arranging in the manner you wish.

In the TRS2004 Engineers Handbook the flowchart is in Section 9.3 "Interactive Industries".

In the TRS2006 manual it's in Section 12.11.3 "Interactive Industries".

The flowchart is very useful but it has two mistakes. There should be an arrow from General Goods to Airport, and there should not be an arrow from 20/40ft Containers to Airport.

Well whaddya know, it showed up! I had a broken link before, but now I see it perfectly. Thanks a bunch! That is a huge help for folks like me who can't find our 2004 or 2006 manuals.

I'd be interested in that too. I can't seem to find anything. The search is case sensitive Don't get bit by that.
