Model Maker

If you're looking for a program to make simple models, or one that does most of the work for you, I'm afraid it doesn't exist. Although Trainz offers a fantastic system for creating all kinds of scenery with Surveyor, they (Auran) never bothered to make a program that would allow you to build trains, houses, cars (you name it) with the same level of simplicity. In fact, they went to the opposite extreme by making these seemingly simple tasks the most difficult on earth. I have no answer, but I feel that this is the biggest single setback with Trainz and one that must be addressed if the software is to ever survive. It just seems crazy that one side of the operation is so easy and the other so b****y complicated. It just doesn't make sense.

If you're still standing, you can go to the Trainz Resources Directory and look under Software, then go to the appropriate tutorials. All I can say is Good Luck. You will surely need it!

Where can I find A program to build locomitives in trainz

Where are you located? What sort of locos are you interested in building? The suggestion would be to start with a scenery object or visible product they are simpler. There is a learning curve on content creation.

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Trainz/Tutorial_for_Blender#Newcomers_start_here is a reasonable place to start. View the Blender videos mentioned then do the Paul Hobb's Blender tutorials.

If you haven't decided on which product to use read his Blender tutorial introduction first. If you decide to go GMAX then use his older GMAX tutorials.

And please start with something simple like a small building - not a locomotive otherwise you may get discouraged rather quickly. A loco is the most difficult thing to make no matter which program you use. None are easy but it eventually comes together and is well worth the effort. Good luck.
