Screenshots of European Trains

Hello Folks,

very nice screenshots :) -as always!
...okhiu, you are right with your expectation. My map shows the former east german railroad (DR) in the early 70's.

greetings

I have been following this thread with great interest for a long time. It is simply amazing what you have all done. Some of your screenshots are virtual photos. Bravo. :udrool:

Anyone who still doubts that Trainz is capable of quality work needs to see these pages.

ldh45: the slovak duo was not published before. But will be in the next couple of days, just like the 234 551-0, DLS and trainz.pl

@okhiu: I think nazi flag is not a toy

Hello yes indeed its not a toy, its a flag :)
Seriously now, i do not try to offend anybody, i do not support nazism or war, but as jpereira said its a historical reconstruction. From the historical point of view i like WW2. And I do not see much difference between creating a route in the WW2 period in Germany or creating a route in the communist era of Eastern Germany.
These symbols give more authenticity to my route.
There are movies situated in this era (not documentaries!) so why wouldnt also exist a Trainz route? Especially that there is a lot of rolling stock and objects from then like:

DRG Class SVT 137
BR 61 Henschel Wegman
BR 52 Kriegslok
BR 58 Kriegslok
The Panzerzug from Wahrmann
Stukas
Tanks, Kubelwagons and other war machinery

and the list can continue.

If these guys created such wonderful content, why not use it in an appropriate route? And i dont think that a Panzerzug pulled by a BR58 Kriegslok would look good next to a Desiro or Taurus, right? :)

So, i created some flags, i even created some propaganda posters to make my route as real as possible.

OK I understand and I never said you supported it...but still we have to be careful with it.:)

Ok, i will not post pics containing these symbols in the future.

OK...I don't mind as much because I'm not Jewish and I didn't have family in the Holocaust...but still other people who did might not understand that your just doing a historical represantation.

Sorry to make a disturbance and thanks for understanding,

Yes. I am the author of the now old and ugly SVT137 #134 diesel motor railcar, a pride of the IIIrd Reich used long after the end of the war, but I had a quite hard decision, since adding a swastika in the front wall, as it was in the original version would raise a number of tough questions. I decided to make a DR post 1945 paintscheme which solved the situation. Anyway, it is not the paintscheme from the 1930s.

And back to the title, I made some original electric framework found in my Lower Silesia Sudety region, e.g. the Lubawka station:

Here you will find the original thing:
