About 40,000 people have converged on the town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to see if 'ol Punxsutawney Phil (the groundhog of Groundhog Day) will see or not see his shadow, which determines when spring is coming. Here's how the way it works:
Phil see his shadow = spring comes early
Phil does not see his shadow = six more weeks of winter
He's supposedly been right about 80% of the time. Today he saw his shadow, so spring should early. However, I'm not certain because we've got a Winter Weather Advisory for our area.
Let's see if he's right.
