TANE won't load

I cannot load TANE on my Windows 7 computer. I've checked that all my systems are up to date but still no success. The load seems to stop at this point:
N3Vgames\tane\resources\Kuid 523 1972821.tzarc
I then get the message "Data error(cyclic redundancy check)"
I do not know what any of this stuff means and I have started the load from scratch twice now.
Can you help please?

It basically means that the file is corrupt. Did you download it or did it come in disc form?

Thanks Shane, I'm new to this. I posted this message in 3 places on Trainz looking for help, I hope the forum works. I downloaded it from a brand new disc that I just received in the mail direct from Trainz themselves.
