hi ,all. i downloaded "'alberta run"', took all content and dependencies( 3 times deleting old content) as i have done with other routes in past. For some reason, this route in surveyor will not load. i get an error "' unable to load map"' and only option is to return to main menu. i have discussed this with the creator of the route, and auran support and it appears that i am the only one with this issue.I can open the editor in CCP and even see the config and all the mapfiles as well . All seems to be correct. The discouraging fact is I installed trz 2006 on another computer and downloaded "'alberta run"" and i get the same error. I also have tried other download sites including the authors own web site. Any one have any ideas where the fault may lie ? Is it the content or my program. All routes and built ins I have ,work just fine except for the odd missing dependencies but the maps always load. cheers

I've gotten this error before too... but not with this map.
I'm also a newbie, and never got beyond the problem. I wound up abandoning those maps.

Just for everyones info I have spoken to Dave about my route but so far I am unable to figure out why he is having this problem as I know it works for others who have tried it.
He has even tried it with another computer so I am not sure.
Dave, You do have the service pack 1 installed right? because that could cause you some troubles if it is not.

I have trz 2006 SP1. Im wondering what the minimum base file needed to open the map would be? Should it be able to open even with missing dependencies and just for info, i have come across 3 files , alberta_run_o6.cdp 17,106,573 bytes , kuid_160088_1002.cdp 17,115,874 bytes, and another one on DS alberta_run_06.cdp that showed as 46mb. I have tried all three and i have deleted content I took with each and started over, each time. I assume the one off the authors web site is the most upto date and maybe i have corruption, however a second computers fresh install did the same thing with no other routes . One computer is tower with ati, the other toshiba laptop with nividia, both high end proc and graphics with lots of ram. There is a link sent to me on the second posting that i cannot open . Is there anyone who can read that post above and get back to me to see if there is a solution to try I currently have 4 other routes working normally no issues, Summer lake Pass, The Canadian , CP Escanaba sub, Evening CP Ride (Detroit). thx again for your consideration and beautiful work to all.

Then you two will need to contact helpdesk (http://www.auran.com/helpdesk/) as they are the only ones who can resolve your issue.
