View Full Version : Merging Routes

I recall reading a couple of threads which relate a method of merging routes which gets around both the 'chasm' and disconnected-splines problem. I recall it involved creating a third single-board blank route but the exact methodology escapes me.
Anybody care to refresh my memory?
Andy :)

As I recall, merge both routes but leave one baseboard's space empty where the 2 routes should merge. Then insert a blank base board into the space and adjust your tracks and texture to suit.
If I am wrong, I sure will get corrected <img>

Say you are merging route A To B and B to C. Create a new (one board ) route in Surveyor, name it (say A to C)
and save. Using this map as first one, merge with A-B,
making sure the single board is not touching A-B and will not touch B-C when this is merged with A-C. After doing this second merge, save new route (A to C).Blank
board can be deleted when this is completed.
I hope I have made this clear enough, John.
