help... font problem

the font in surveyor is completely shot, in the object lists and menus. its turned to gobbledegook is there a replacement font that i can download (what is it called and where can i get it)

should i just reinstall only i don't want to lose my downloads

a reinstall will not work unless you follow the instructions completely and to the t. Back-up your custom content, do a complete uninstall. Reinstall and apply appropriate service packs in the proper method. If you think you know what these are, or your are not sure (you are probably wrong) then DO A SEARCH on forums and find out the proper method. If you do it incorrectly then you will have problems.

Though it doesn’t make a lot of sense in similar circumstances a general tidy up and a defrag cleared this problem for me
