Deleting Downloaded Files.

Can I delete download files once I have extracted and installed the assets. I am running Trainz 2004.:confused:

Hey Hoover, your question isn't really specific enough so I'm not sure what you mean.

Instead of "file" do you mean "layout" or "session"?

You can delete a session or layout and the objects required to make it work should still be available. The only thing you delete is the way those objects are put together.

I have object files that I have downloaded from assorted sites. These downloaded files (cdp's) occupy nearly 3gb's of space I wanted to move then to DVD. They have all been extracted and installed.

Once you have incorporated a CDP file into your game, you can either delete the CDP or move it to a CD for safekeeping. I do both - CD first, then delete.
