evening all ive bought trainz virtual railway from pc world for £14.99 which was part of a gift pack including also model rail international,model railway,does anyone know is this a new release for 2007 or is it from 2006 or earlier?

It's the original Trainz. Version 1.3

ah ok thanks for that,so in theory i could get trainz 2006 then to be upto date without getting trz2004 is that right then i can down load the other loco's and liveries that are available?

Indeed. You could have just got TRS2006 in the first place in order to be up to date though surely ;)

yes i could,i bought this one for some reason thinking it was the new trs2006 one,anyway never mind i'll go buy it,thanks tf.

Un-surprisingly I'd suggest buying from the website. ;)

Order before lunchtime tomorrow and I'll put into the post for you tomorrow and put a SP1 CD in as well. You should have it by Thursday with luck.

Besides that there are several ways to get TRS2006 such as ebay.com, you can also see if a local software retailer like Big Buy can get it, upon buying the game I would suggest installing it and SP1 by following the instructions in the thread "Session woes".

Yes. Don't order anything else at the same time though or it will get despatched from Australia (not what you want I suspect) as I only have TRS2006 here in the UK.

This is true. You need to be aware of which version you are buying though and be sure it isn't second hand.

TRS2006 purchased through the Auran shop for the UK get SP1 and an Install Guide for SP1 included.
