hi all
i must be getting dumb in my old age.
i've forgotten how to copy the names of my stations, trackmarks and points in my route.
i know i done it before, but i cant remember how.
the helpfile didnt help either
what i want to do is to have them in a word document so that i can put them in alphabetical order and then print them out like that for reference
thanks
ron

Aren't they in the config file of the route? Just wondering, I have no clue to be honest. But if so, you could prob print them out that way?

but when i copy them i get 2 rows with names
i have no idea how to cut it down to a single line in word so that i can sort and print them

You could try using Word's convert text to table function. Copy and paste the stirng table from the config into a Word document. If you select the text you want to convert, go to the 'table' - 'convert' - 'text to table' menu (from memory- I'm on OpenOffice at home and the commands may be slightly different in Word but the function is similar) and choose separate text at 'other' and enter the " symbol (I think it defaults to a semi colon or comma) this will give you a three column table of all the entries with your names in the second column. Delete all the unwanted columns to get a single column table which you can order/manipulate or convert back to text as you wish.
