Activate a Whistle?

Is there a rule or something that I can place at a passenger terminal that will sound a whistle when the train has finished loading passengers and is ready to depart?

well, if your train is controlled by an automated driver..... you can download the "whistle" rule, which allows you to desinate the driver to blow the whistle after finnished loading

Hornz its a driver command that sounds the trains horn, place before the next drive command. also available Bellz

IMHO "Hornz" is the best one to use, because the others make the whistle sound even if the train is not visible on the screen (or it could be a hundred miles away and it still sounds). Not very realistic. I think "Hornz" is in the list of driver commands by default, isn't it?

Hi davesnow,

There is also a whistle board you can use for the train approaching the station or approaching level crossings. Look for kuid2 68236 11024 1 it seems to be the most reliable one.
