With a lot of tweaking I`ve managed to get most of my rolling stock working in TS2009 native mode and I would like to save it. Would it be best to archive them or save as .cdp file? What`s the difference?
Thanks in advance
Jeff

I prefer to zip the whole locals file and also backup up an unzipped copy and copy to rewritable dvd.
To reload just import the content ( unzip first if zipped).
As mentioned before I also keep an image of my partitions on another drive using Acronis program. A complete restore of a partition takes a few minutes and is a life saver if the registry gets corrupted.

Hi Jeff.
I have 2, 16GB USB2 Flash Drives and use windows to backup my local folder every 2 days.
My folder is 9.30 GB (9,991,872,512 bytes) with over 133,019 Files, 10,982 Folders.
I have used archiver a couple of times and it has let me down each time.
Cheers
